Surprisingly, Governor Suswam of Benue State sees his position or power as nothing; this is why he agreed to be a best man for Peter Anyiman, cook to a Reverend Father at Our Lady Perpetual Help Cathedral in Markudi, Benue State over the weekend.

At the wedding, Governor Suswan informed guests that he decided to serve as Anyiman's best man to honour him because of his commitment to his job. Anyiman has been as serving a cook for Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Michael Tumba in Abuja for over 18 years.

Anyiman expressed his delight at having his own state governor serving as his best man, saying he couldn't have wished for a better wedding gift.

It was indeed soul-touching as the governor was serving the new groom, adjusting his ties and all that.
