Nollywoodgists.com can authoritatively report that top Nigerian actor, McSmith Ochendo popular known as Ochendo, has dumped acting for a life in the music industry. Ochendo, according to a source close to him, is said not to be too happy with Nollywood anymore like before, so, his decision to do more of singing than acting.

Ochendo is a strong member of Actors' Guild of Nigeria who didn't hide his support for the past president of the Guild, Segun Arinze, during his administration's tussle with Emeka Ike.

When contacted, Ochendo confirmed to Nollywoodgists.com that though he is now going into music, but he will not totally leave acting as he will still be partially involved in Nollywood. He then confirmed that he already has a music video out which is presently gaining massive support from friends in the industry.
