Lagos Third Mainland Bridge To Be Closed Down For 4 Months.
Federal Government has announced the temporary closure, for four months, of the third mainland bridge for renovation.
That a lot of commuters and other road users are already groaning for this development if obvious as the traffic situation in Lagos State will be so horrendous come this July-September, 2012.
The already congested bridge in the morning and after work will be unbearable for commuters and other road users who will be highly affected by the closure.
Unarguably, this three months closure, no doubt, will make a great loss on the State's revenue as social life of the state will be dropped drastically while it will also have a great impact on the inter state revenue income generated.
The question on the lips of all now is that why do we need to wait for this long without making adequate alternative provision? The picture below could not give the right answer.
