INTERNATIONAL RECORDING CONTRACT FOR THE WINNER OF IDOLS WEST AFRICA !
From smooth ballads and R&B soul to booming rock anthems and radio-friendly pop, the TOP TEN contestants on M-Net's IDOLS WEST AFRICA have proved
with guts and glory, that they can find fame, fortune and a future with their voices. And for the final winner of the reality series, which is screened throughout Africa on DStv, that future has a very bright beginning!
That's because the winner will sing his or her way to a once-in-a-lifetime recording contract which will be awarded to them by Sony/BMG Africa International, a joint venture company between Pan African Entertainment and Sony/BMG Music Entertainment Africa.
The winner's record, comprising four songs specially selected by the record company, will be taped, mixed and produced by February 2008 in South Africa during a special recording session with the first ever IDOLS WEST AFRICA winner.
Earning the benefit of studio quality recording, top sound engineers, talented African backing musicians and more, the winner of the show will be able to sign
their very own CD for any fan with pride. Distribution of the record is also part of the prize package.
The main prize is a dream comes true for anyone who wants to be a global superstar. Especially, if one recognizes that in past editions of IDOLS from around
the globe, the recording contract prize has launched the careers of previous winners to star-studded heights.
In addition, the winner will be given a monetary prize of USD 10 000 from Ecobank and a Kia Picanto, courtesy of Dana Motors in Nigeria . The winner will also get a 26 inch LCD TV and an I-POD (complete with docking stations) from the show's headline sponsor Celtel.
Plus the TOP TEN contestants on IDOLS WEST AFRICA will all find themselves with prizes galore, win or lose in the competition. Prizes include a top of the range
Motorola Motorazr phone with 1 year free airtime to the value of 60 000 Naira from Celtel. Also included is a bank account with 50 000 Naira loaded from
Ecobank.
