Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has apologized to veteran Fuji singer Saheed Osupa.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that the 'Zazuu' crooner took to his Instagram page to blast veteran Fuji singer, Saheed Osupa for reporting his song, which led to it being taken down from streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple music, over copyright infringement.
Portable's public call-out of the Fuji veteran did not sit down well with many, as netizens have begun lambasting the singer for being disrespectful.
However, in a recent turn of events, Portable, via a video on his Instagram page, has now apologized to Saheed Osupa, while attributing his earlier outburst to being a hot tempered person.
Furthermore, the singer apologized to his fans, and also begged Saheed Osupa to forgive him for his previous actions.
Portable said:
“My fans, I’m a hot tempered person, I have said my mind and it has ended. My fans please forgive me. King Saheed Osupa Oba orin, please don’t be offended.
“It’s money that causes a fight. It’s money that destroys siblings relationship, and causes a fight between father and son.
“It was music money that caused our fight because it was when I went to collect money for the song that I was told that it has been removed on streaming platforms. Please my daddy, forgive me and adopt me as your child "
