Police Clarifies The Air On Laide Bakare's Accusation 

Social media has been on fire over actress, Laide Bakare's accusation targeted at the Nigeria police force.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice recently reported how Laide Bakare took to Instagram to accuse the police of being brutal over an incident that occurred between her and the police at Ikorodu. She stated that she had to pay 70k before she was eventually left to go.

In response to the allegations made by the actres, the spokesperson for the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin took to X to shed more light on what transpired between the actress and the police officers.

He wrote;
“You were stopped for contravening traffic laws by driving on the BRT lane.

“You chose to create a scene. You chose to remain out of your vehicle when it was being taken to the LAMATA office.

“And the officers were not going to succumb to your gimmick to hold them down at that spot.

“You paid the N70,000 fine for your offence into the government coffers. Not a finger was laid on you. You left with the receipt and your vehicle.”
