9ice Gives Cogent Reason He Chooses To Support Tinubu In The Next Election
Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande better known as 9ice in a video disclosed a convincing reasons he would be supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He has however joined the list of Nigerian celebrities who will be canvassing for Tinubu.
His reasons for declaring support for Asiwaju emanates from his one-on-one encounter with the All Progressive Party flag bearer at Mapo Hall in Ibadan during the 2nd term campaign of former Oyo-State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi.. He disclosed this via his official Instagram page.
While recounting his encounter with Tinubu, 9ice said that, the moment he appreciated most was when he was summoned among the crowd by Tinubu. At that time he was performing on the stage at the campaign where there were other top stars.
According to 9ice, at first, he taught Tinubu was pointing to someone else noting that actor Saidi Balogun was behind him, but the former Lagos State governor insisted that he want his number.
9ice said, Tinubu told him that he likes what he is doing as artiste and in return he sees it as a big deal.
He said he couldn’t believe someone like Tinubu who is so busy and big in the society accompanied with his reputation could ask for his number and appreciates his work. The singer who never sees it coming utters “Who am I?”

" There were loads of stars on the stage. I can remember officer Balogun was behind me. And someone just pointed at me and said 'come here I want your Number' i was looking behind me probably Asiwaju was calling somebody behind me. I looked behind and he affirmed that it was me. Then he called 'lukmon collect this man's number, I like what you are doing'. That was my one-on-one experience with him. It was a big deal for me because how can someone so busy, someone with that repute... And out of probably 10,000 crowds he pointed at me"
