Winners- Nollywood & African People's Choice Awards Hollywood 2016
NOLLYWOOD & AFRICAN PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS announced today the 2016 Winners. The Awards also announced that Alikiba a Tanzanian music star received his first NAPCA nominations and nabs this year’s Favorite Artist of the Year and Favorite Song of the Year for his song “Aje”.
Ethiopian actress wins the Favorite Actress and Favorite Actor goes to Ethiopian actor Girum Ermia.
The Nollywood & African People's Choice Awards is the only major African awards show where fans determine the nominees and winners across categories of movies, music and television.
Fearless Visionaries Tear the Veil took home “Favorite Online TV series” and “Favorite Comedy goes to Chicken Melody,” while “Favorite Music Video” goes to Chillton De Merchant James and additional awards categories include Favorite Hollywood Actor and Actress won by Will Smith and Taraj P. Henson. Favorite Promising Actress went to the Jamaican up and coming actress Jacinth Sutphin who had a lead role in the NAFCA nominated film Muda produced and directed by Prinze Whyee.
Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Awards is the maker of the 2016 Nollywood & African People’s Choice Awards’ trophy. Designed and hand-made for NAFCA, each 18 Karat gold plated trophy will have a new home with each talented winner. .
