Monalisa Chinda, Ruggedman, Others Get Charity Ambassador Awards
It was a celebration galore on Sunday, November 8, 2015, in Lagos when top entertainers in the razzmatazz industry in Nigeria were honoured with various awards at the 2015 Ambassador Charity Awards.
The event, which took place at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Lekki, saw the convergence of notable faces in the entertainment industry in Nigeria in a relaxed mood.
Ruggedman, Monalisa Chinda, Maleke Idowu, Emmanuel Ekunno (CEO Neimeth Pharmaceutical Plc) were amongst those named as Charity Ambassador of the Year.
These people were nominated by different individuals for their philanthropic and humanitarian works in the society.
In his remarks, Ruggedman promised to continue to focus his attention the education of every Nigerian child so as to secure the future of Nigeria.
According to Maleke Idowu, he will pay more interest in youths and work tirelessly to ensure youths on the streets are empowered.
On the part of Emmanuel Ekunno, he will channel his resources into building people, human capital development, training skills, school, educating people, and empowering them entrepreneurially for nation building.
Coordinator of the event, Ebuka Peters, who is the CEO of Ambassador Showbiz Plus, used the occasion to launch his book entitled '25 laws of showbiz'. In his speech, he encouraged the awadees to be involved in nation building.
