Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola Salako and her husband, Kayode Salako are currently having a nice time in faraway Dublin.

Some days ago, their marriage was rumoured to be swimming in troubled waters, but the man promptly played the talks down, stressing that their union is still intact.

Still surprised at how the rumour is still being peddled, Kayode has come to set the records straight, stating that “it is a union ordained by God Himself” and not by man.

He further said people should not expect their marriage to be without the usual challenges experienced in unions.

“But in spite of it all, nobody should expect that it would be a perfect one between us. It would be unintelligent to think and hope so. It is still going to be like any typical marriage with its usual ups and downs. But it is one that must survive!

“He (God) brought us together in such a controversial and embarrassing way. It is His way of doing things and nobody can question that. Just the same way nobody can question why He didn't bring Jesus Christ through a perfect marital arrangement,” he said.

Kayode noted that people who expect their marriage to crumble “should forget it, because the marriage is beyond Foluke and Kayode.” He stressed that only “God Himself can crash it”

“Foluke will always remain my darling Omolewa in whom I am well pleased. That seals it," he added.
