My Grandma Prayed for Me for 1 Hour After Hearing ‘Ifemi’…Tolu Adesina
Since leaving Project Fame in 2010, the edition Chidinma won, Tolu Adesina, has ensured that his dreams of becoming a full musician does not end as he kept working on himself to attain the desired height.
All things being equal, today Tolu can look back and be proud of himself especially after receiving accolades from friends and fans far and near on his latest single, 'Ifemi; which was produced by BabyFresh Mavin.
The singer while speaking on the inspiration behind the song, stated that he got most of the lines of the song from his grandmother who would always sing the song as a sign that she was in the compound anytime she was coming from the village.
He stated that after the song was released, the song was sent to his grandmother who called him and prayed for him for about an hour telling him that he has just made a great impact.
According to him while speaking New Telegraph said, “My dad and mum were very excited because they knew 'Ifemi' very well. My grandma like I said always sang it to me as a child. When they heard the song, they felt so proud of me. They sent it to my grandmother and she called me; she prayed for me for almost an hour. She told me that I did a great thing and God would bless it.”
