I Was Rejected Because of my Skin Colour...AY’s Younger Brother, Yomi
Comedian, Ayo Makun's (AY) younger brother, Omoniyi Makun better known as Yomi Casual, has disclosed that he was rejected on several occasions when he attempted going to modelling.
The popular fashion designer stated that he was rejected on several occasion in 2006 when he took a shot at modelling but was been turned down.
Yomi explained that he had struggled in life just to make a good living for himself but the whole journey has been rough until God finally gave him a breakthrough in fashion.
According to him, “Throwing it back to 2006, model that year. I don hustle for this life. So many casting, sorry we can't use you, you are too black. Look at me now.”
Forgetting about his past, Yomi Casual today is one of the most sought after fashion designers in Lagos with his offices gradually spanning to various localities.
