South African Rapper, AKA Denied Nigerian Visa
The monthly Industry Nite, a music/karoke programme comes up on Thursday, January 29 and top rapper, South Africa's AKA was billed to be on the stage but late reports confirms that the act will not be performing as expected again due to immigration conditions.
He was to perform in Lagos as part of his first leg West Africa Tour where he is said to have huge fan base and then move on to Ghana on January 31st but he has postponed that too because of the unexpected delays at the issuance of his visas.
"We've had to postpone my trip to Nigeria and Ghana due to delays with my visa. Super disappointed but new dates will be announced soon"
His record label has issued an apology statement to the organizers of the event and fans, promising that the rapper will make himself available sometime later.
The Industry Nite is an event organsied monthly to bring fans and their music icons together in a way to foster the growth of the entertainment industry.
Coincidentally, the 27-year old rapper had looked forward to spending the day with his fans and friends.
