Why Miss Tourism Is Joining Nollywood—Management Tells Nigeriafilms

The newly crowned Miss Tourism 2014, Queen Collette Nwadike has successfully pushed her way into the celebrity world just some weeks into reign as a beauty queen. Few weeks ago, she was appointed a Special Assistant on Tourism to the Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano.

Few days ago, we learnt that Collette has concluded plan to take a career in the booming movie industry in Nigeria by take up lead roles in about three films. He will be working with an ace producer for the projects.

When contacted, Collette's management told Nollywoodgists.com that she signed a major movie series deal which will see her as a lead role with other top Nollywood actors and disclosed that the production of the new movie will start by the end of June.

When asked why she decided to go into Nollywood, the Queen's management disclosed that because she is seen as a role model, they could not reject the offer when a producer approached them to have Collette in Nollywood.

The management said they saw the move as a very good platform for her to achieve her dreams in inspiring young people.
