Obesere Budgets N20m For Movie On Recent Ordeal With Lagos Lover
Fuji musician, Abass Akande, also known as “Obesere” who has had his own share of controversy recently after been accused of forcefully having a carnal knowledge of a lady in Lagos, has declared his intention to shoot a film on the matter.
Obesere, who has continued to maintain his innocence, will reportedly lavish about N20 million the project.
According to reports, Obesere has written a script about r*pe and is currently shopping for actors and actresses who will fit into the characters. It is not yet certain if he himself would be starring in the movie, but prominent artistes are sure to take the lead in the movie.
Unconfirmed reports also have it that a total sum of N20 million has been budgeted for the project. Further digs revealed that the movie is to expose men and women who blackmail people with rape scandal and to capture tricks and methods used by rapists.
Explaining further, Obesere's publicist, Deola Adeoti said, “the movie is targeted at unraveling the mystery behind the rape scandal.”
“A whole lot of things have been read and said about him in the past few weeks, but I think this movie will tell the world the plain truth,” he added.
