Famous comedian, Shehu Jibril, popularly known as Golobo, Kannywood comedian was also popular in the Hausa entertainment industry, especially for his weekly TV series on Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, in the mid 80s.

He died on Thursday morning in his home town, Talatan Mafara, Zamfara State.
His most recent performance was in the Kannywood movie, Maiciki. He starred alongside Rabilu Musa Ibro and Jamila Nagudu.

Mourning the death of the Shehu Jibril, actor and producer, Murtala Balala who attended the burial said that Golobo would be missed a lot in the world of Kannywood comedy.
