Producer Lawrence Onuzulike Beaten & Whisked Away From Movie Set

On Friday Jan 17, 2014, fast rising Asaba film maker Lawrence Onuzulike was surrounded by SARS team while on the set of the movie entitled, Bloomsberry Hotel, in Ajah area of Lagos. According to eye witnesses, he was thoroughly beaten before he was whisked away without any reason given to his film crew or artistes working with him.

According to an eye witness ''it was really embarrassing because they humiliated him in public, as people watching lost count of the number of slaps he received from the SARS team. It was revealed that no one knows what he did and when the SARS team came to the location venue and began shooting into the air, at first people thought it was a movie scene till the hot slaps landed on Lawrence's cheeks cleared the air about what their intention was.

After beating him to their satisfaction, they handcuffed him, seized his filming equipment and whisked him away.

For some days, Lawrence was unavailable. He eventually re-surfaced on BBM, acting as if nothing happened, he started sending out broadcast messages asking for 10 male models to come to the set of Bloomsberry Hotel.
