"Corruption, greed & wickedness is simply what's behind the music ban on air" - Tuface

Tuface Idibia has rallied other artistes to battle radio stations and programme presenters on Nigerian airwaves. This is in retaliation to the decision of BON and IBAN to boycott music from COSON's stable, in protest against the latter's hard fight to get the broadcasters to pay artistes' music rights.

As a result of the ban, many radio stations in Nigeria now rely on foreign songs and those of artistes that are not part of the Tony Okoroji-led COSON. Tuface and his team, Azeezat and Banky W, have decided to fight back and threatened that they will not perform at BON/IBAN's shows, including the pending Rhythm Unplugged by the Silverbird Group. In a tweet a few hours ago, Tuface accused those who are behind the ban as greedy, wicked and corrupt. He tweeted:
