Come October 9th 2013, the country home of renowned Nollywood movie director, T-Chidi Chikere will be awaken by a heavy traffic of vehicles and guests, who will throng to pay last respect to his father as he gets interred to mother earth.

The septuagenarian, late Nze Vitalis O.S Chikere died at the age of 85, was a retired superior police officer (retired 1984), a staunch Catholic and community leader in his native of Izuoha, Amuzi Mbaise, Imo state.

According to a release signed and made available to Nollywoodgists.com by the family at the weekend said his remains would be interred in his country home in Izuoha on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 after a requiem mass at St. Jude's Catholic Pro-Cathedral Church, Amuzi Ahiazu Mbaise.

Survived by his wife, Lois, many children and grand-children. Amongst his children include: Mr. Donne Chikere; popular Nollywood movie director, T-Chidi Chikere; entertainment editor of Champion Newspapers, Uzo Chikere, and author cum banker, Mrs. Chinedu Stella Agu (wife of the Union publisher/CEO, Mr. Emma Agu).
