My Ex Was Married To Two Women While He Was With Me----- Ara The Talking Drummer Opens Up

Aralolu 'Ara' Olamuyiwa who walked out of her marriage about three years has finally come out to explain to the public what led to the crash of her marriage. The entertainer said that her ex-husband was married to two other women while she was with him.

Hear her, “I didn't really know that he was legally married to two other women. One of them called me and sent me her marriage certificate. We called each other and agreed to annul it where we got married.”

It's so obvious that a lot of Nigerian artistes are not doing a good job getting to know the man they are getting married to before consummating their relationship. A source hinted that, it's an act of greed to have dated a man you know little about.

If you recall a couple of months back, Laide, the beauty actress came out to annul her wedding on allegation that the guy was married before. “For crying out loud, why are our artistes are acting like thieves, gluttons who rush into marriages because of material gains and rush out again within few months. How would you have dated someone for three years to later discover that he's a bigamist? It's really funny, and a lot of them are still making this same mistake!” a concerned stakeholder in the entertainment industry said.

Ara and ex-husband Nurudeen Olalekan Saliu got married on June 4, 2009 at the Oshodi/Isolo registry in Lagos. The drummer in July 2011 announced their separation and decided to annul their marriage at a Lagos Local Government Registry. The couple has a son, Ire.
