African Magic Viewers' Choice Awards held last Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites which had Mercy Johnson, the Nollywood actress and others wining has been thumbed up.

Shortly after the event, one of the thespians of reckon, Genevieve Nnaji via her official Twitter handle, Genevieve Nnaji MFR @GenevieveNnaji1, tweeted, “ Congratulations to @realmercyj for her win! With passion comes success and you deserve it all. Thanks for sharing. Happy Mothers Day love.”

Mercy Johnson, who was in far away United States of America during the awards, had Patience Ozokwo receiving the award on her behalf and few seconds after saw Tricia Esiegbe mounted the stage to give a speech on behalf of the nursing mother of one, Mercy.

In her speech, she thanked the organisers of the great event, all her fans and haters too. She now dedicated the award to Genevieve Nnaji. Reason is best known to her.
