Before I share what Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli said a while ago, let me remind you that malaria kills a child somewhere in the world every 3 seconds.

Well, that's the international statistics on malaria and that's why I consider Oboli a lucky woman.

Just a few minutes ago, she took to Twitter and said:

"Two of my kids had malaria for the first time in their lives last week. The doctor couldn't bliv they've never had #iamstillthankful."

Guess we can only urge her to do what she has been doing all along - taking good care of her family and thanking God for his mercies on her loved ones.
