MOVIE: PIRATES NAB IN ABEOKUTA
Despite the warnings and campaigns against pirates, two suspected home video pirates who didn't obey the law and desist from the criminal act, on Wednesday apprehended in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital, with three Ghana-Must-Go bags of pirated films.
The suspects, Chukwu Emeka and Emeka Eze, were caught by the Association of Nigerian theatre Practitioners( ANTP), Ogun State
Chapter, during a street protest against activities of pirates at Lafenwa area of the town.
The men were taken to Ibara Police station in the town for further investigations.
One of the suspects, Mr. Eze, resident of Kobiti area of the town, confessed that the fake productions were bought in Alaba market, Lagos When press peole visited the police station, the suspects were behind the counter and were being interrogated by the authorities.
