On Saturday, June 2, stakeholders in Nollywood converged at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos to celebrate excellence in the movie industry.

This gathering of industry's top shots was made possible with the help of the maiden edition of Nollywood Movies Awards.

Omotola Ekeinde Jalade made a rare appearance at any event held in Nigeria that day. Uche Jumbo also made it to the event after her wedding to a Puerto Rican lover, Kenny Rodriguez.

Pawpaw, Uti, Anita Hogan, Charles Okafor, Tunde Kelani, Kunle Afolayan, Halima Abubakar, Mercy Aigbe and many others stormed the event.
