Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, a one time leader of the now defunct Plantashun Boiz,is currently enmeshed in a divorce mess with Dayo his now estranged wife of over eight years.

We hear is battling to get a divorce from his wife who had two children for him a boy and girl, from a marriage that had withstood the test of time despite their differences in language. While Blackface is from Benue,his wife hails from the western part of the country.

Sources close to the former Platashun Boiz leader disclosed to us that the couple has been separated for over six months now with the wife having moved out from their matrimonial home taking the children along with her.

The move we hear is not unconnected to Blackface not having the resources to fend for his children, which is as a result of his falling to bad times as his kind of music (Conscious Music) is no longer the kind that elicits warm reactions from music faithful.

Our sources further told us that their separation for now is a mutual thing,with both agreeing to live apart from each other pending when the actual divorce will be obtained in court.

In a new development, we gathered that the former Plantashun Boiz members have waded into the squabble and had gone to beg Dayo to return.Dayo we hear, honoured them when she appeared at Blackface's birthday penultimate Tuesday but no one knows whether she will eventually return home.
