KANU NWANKWO APPOINTED AS SPECIAL ADVISER TO IMO STATE GOVERNMENT
Ex Nigeria World Cup skipper Nwankwo Kanu has been appointed as a special adviser on sports to newly-elected Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
Gov. Okorocha announced Kanu's appointment at a special dinner in honor of the former Arsenal and Inter Milan star, who call it quit as a professional footballer at the weekend in Lagos.Okorocha was a special guest of honour at the Kanu testimonial.
The Governor announced Kanu's appointment at the gala dinner after the testimonial on Saturday.
