Recare Set To Celebrate 14th Anniversary In Grand Style
Yes, it has been all of 14 years since popular cosmetics company Recare entered the Nigerian beauty and style market. Since then, they have grown into a major brand name for fashion, style and beauty all across Nigeria and African continent.
And as a way to mark the anniversary, Recare, makers of Natures Gentle Touch announced early this week, that will be giving away products and scholarships worth N14M (fourteen million naira). Recare will also be honouring 14 people who have in one way or the other played vital roles in the development of the beauty and hair care industry in Nigeria.
'It has been an amazing and awesome experience', Recare CEO Chika Ikenga says. 'It's quite ironic how time can fly when you love what you are doing, and you are witnessing the testimonies firsthand. I'm particularly thrilled seeing the achievements we've recorded so far. It's also good to see how fast the industry has grown over the past years. I'll say our journey marked the definition of hair care in Nigeria beyond its functional benefits to making it a lifestyle. And looking back, I think we've done extremely well, though there's still much more to be done'.
In addition, Ikenga also discloses that there will be a cocktail dinner, which will be graced by celebrities, select consumers, beauty connoisseurs and industry leaders from all over the country. Brand ambassadors Oluchi and Agbani Darego will also be present on that evening.
No date has been disclosed but Ikenga says 'we'll make all those details public soonest'…
